Free Download for the month:
Last month the download was a guide to setting up a Veggie Patch in a weekend . Now we need to sprout some seeds and nurture them in the patch to get them going . The free download for this month, for people who are members of the Dig It Down Under community, is a four page PDF guide to simple effective and inexpensive propagation tips. This includes hand making your own biodegradable propagation pots which is a quick process and it makes planting out a breeze. The second part of the guide shows how to make simple effective mini cloches with built in heat regulators or thermal mass as it is known. The third free download for the month is a guide to various potato varieties, their origin, shape, skin colour, flesh colour and their best use. I.e. they mashers, bakers, friars or potato salad potatoes this is with the compliments of the VICSPA and Seed Potatoes Victoria.
