    Hi Riley,

I’m catching up a bit on previous episodes and in this one you mention that there’s a variety (or maybe more than one) of chrysanthemum whose flowers are used for tea. Do you know which variety it is? I have two new projects for my garden this year – edible flowers and herbal teas :)

Loved the time travel back to the Aztec era!

    Thanks
    Emma

    Hi Emma,

I’m just getting back on board for the new year. I’ll have a listen and get back to you.

    Cheers

I’ve just listened to the end of this show and I loved the bit about henna – it made me want to grow my own! But the climate is going to be a problem. There’s a lot of great information about henna on the Plant Cultures website (http://www.plantcultures.org/plants/henna_landing.html), which is a good one for plant geeks.

You also said you weren’t a fan of winter brassicas. Me either, but I grow some of the Oriental ones in winter, which are nice in stir-fries. And there are plenty of winter salad veg that survive in my climate, and probably would in yours.

    Hey Emma,

Would love to know about those winter greens that will survive the cold. I’m always looking for more to grow in winter. XX Riley
